Caroline Lasky Educational Specialist and Consultant

As an Educational Specialist, I provide a warm, nurturing environment. My sessions are individualized to meet the needs of a range of learners, whether the focus is on reading, writing or a specific learning issue. I support emergent, decoding and fluent readers in all aspects of literacy development. My work encompasses, while not limited to remediating specific language based learning difficulties such as dyslexia. I am also able to help children with attention and executive function challenges, as well as cognitive and emotional issues related to learning across curriculum. I also offer enrichment for learners who are looking for a challenge or a boost to their learning. In addition, I consult and advise families when more support than I provide is required. I have long standing relationships with schools as well as therapists and neuropsychologists whom I refer to.
